Covid-19 Update
Caring for you and your dental care
Firstly, we hope you and your loved ones remain safe and well.
As the unprecedented situation of COVID-19 continues to significantly affect our daily life, we would like to take this opportunity to update you on some important changes that are happening at Marsh Dental Care.
After our initial twelve weeks of closure, I’m sure you can appreciate that we had a substantial number of patients who needed urgent care and we have of course been prioritising those patients experiencing acute dental pain. Patients who were in the middle of treatment have also been contacted to make arrangements to finish their treatments.
We are now in the process of contacting patients to re-establish their regular routine appointments over the coming weeks and months.
However, the guidance from Government is changing almost daily, and the one thing we are clear on is that we are currently unable to treat patients in our practice in the same manner as we were able to treat you pre COVID-19.
Safety and infection control have always been of the highest priority in our practice and over the past four months, we have been continually reviewing guidance, ensuring we are operating in accordance with all guidelines and in the safest manner possible. These new Coronavirus controls have impacted all of our booked appointments and as a result of these increased protocols, we will need to reduce the number of patients passing through our doors on a daily basis.
We’re keen to start seeing as many patients as possible. However, due to the restrictions required to protect your health, we cannot provide as many appointments in one day as we are used to. Unfortunately we have no choice but to see patients at a slower pace and if we need to postpone your appointment, you might have to wait a little longer.
Over the next few weeks we may therefore contact you to reschedule their appointment to a time that is convenient for you.
We understand this is terribly frustrating to you but providing a safe environment for our patients and team members has always been imperative to us.
If you are a membership plan patient, please be assured we will invite you back into our practice to carry out your oral health examination and hygiene visit ensuring you are still receiving the required number of appointments included within your membership.
We have been overwhelmed by your support as a practice member during these difficult times and thank you again for your loyalty and patience throughout this pandemic.
We truly miss you and all of the patients who make our days at work so fun and full of colour. We can’t wait until we get to see you again.
In the meantime, please do everything you can to keep yourselves and those around you safe and avoid any unnecessary risks. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon and don’t forget, if you have any questions, please contact our supportive team via email at info@marshdentalcare.co.uk.
With our love
