COVID – 19 Update June 2021

Dear Patients and Friends of Marsh Dental Care,

We hope you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well and adapting to the new normal as restrictions continue to ease around us.

Even though restrictions are easing and the vaccination programme is proceeding with success we all still need to be careful. As new variants of the coronavirus emerge we must take care not to become complacent.

The risk of Covid 19 and it’s variants is still upon us and we have been advised to continue providing dental services as we have been doing. This means our front door will continue to be locked, you will only be able to attend the surgery if you have an appointment. When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in your car or outside the practice and text us to inform us of your arrival. When we are ready to welcome you we will let you know via a text.

You will still need to wear a mask at all times while inside the dental practice and only remove your mask at the request of the dental professional. We will continue to triage all clients and as you enter the building you will still need to use the alcohol disinfectant rub to disinfectant your hands.

Due to these restrictions we are still operating at a reduced capacity and cannot provide as many appointments in one day as we did pre-Covid. For all treatments we have been advised to continue wearing enhanced PPE and so we will continue to wear our long sleeved gowns and full-face masks. All staff will be wearing facemasks at all times and we still have Perspex screens in place at reception. Our patient lounge continues to be taped off. Whilst all these measures may appear a little impersonal, please be reassured we are still the same friendly, approachable people as we have always been.

We would like to thank all our clients for their patience and loyalty through this crisis and we would like to ask you to try to continue to be patient with us – it has not been easy for the Team at Marsh Dental and your continued kindness truly helps us cope.

Please do everything you can to keep yourselves and those around you safe. Don’t forget, if you have any questions, please contact our supportive team via email at info@marshdentalcare.co.uk.

The best way to contact us is via email, our phone lines are rather busy at the moment!

With our love,

Jayne, Preetpal & all the Team at Marsh Dental Care
