OUR TEAM

Each of the dentists, hygienists and nurses in our practice are registered with the General Dental Council and adhere to the rules governing the profession as set out by the GDC (click here for more information).

 

JAYNE MILLINGTON-SMITH BChD

Jayne graduated from the University of Leeds in 1982 with distinction in Oral Surgery and moved to Marsh from Trinity Street in 1998 prior to help form Marsh Dental Care in 2003. She is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and undertakes regular postgraduate education. She undertook an advanced oral surgery course at Calderdale Royal Infirmary in 1998. Jayne has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and in treating nervous patients.

 

PREETPAL DHILLON BDS

Preetpal graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1997 and completed a course of vocational training in Liverpool the following year. She worked in Huddersfield for three years before joining the team in Marsh as an associate dentist. In 2006 Preetpal became a partner in Marsh Dental Care. She is a member of the British Dental Association (BDA) and St. Ann's Dental Academy. Preetpal undertakes regular postgraduate education. She has completed a theoretical and practical advanced course in restorative dentistry in Manchester and she has participated in the Invisalign certification course allowing her to offer this treatment. Preetpal has a special interest in cosmetic
dentistry and in treating nervous patients.

SARAH DYSON RDN MInstLM

Sarah has been at Marsh Dental Care since 1999 working mainly on reception. She gained her Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2001 and has worked as practice manager since 2003.Sarah regularly updates her Dental Nursing and Practice Manager training. Recently Sarah attained a Level 5 Diploma in Management.

HEIDI PEEL RDH.DipDHE.LL.B(Hons)MA Barrister-at-Law

Heidi completed her hygienist training at Glasgow University in 1983 and went on to study law, being called to the bar in 2001. She joined us in 2003 and combines extended duties dental hygiene work with studying for a PhD at York University. As an extended duties hygienist Heidi is able to administer local anaesthetic, take radiographs and provide teeth whitening in surgery and home kits. She is a member of the British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy (BSDHT).

Hayley Brown

Hayley joined the Team at Marsh Dental Care as a Trainee Dental Nurse in 2010. Previous to this Hayley gained experience working as a nursery assistant in a children's nursery for three years. Hayley is now enrolled on a Dental Nursing course and is studying towards attaining her Dental Nursing Certificate.

SAM BESTALL EDH

Samantha joined Marsh Dental Care in 2006 and qualified at Edinburgh Dental Hospital in 1997, with the Clinician of the Year award. She went to London to work for a short while but came back to Yorkshire, which is where she originally came from and likes to call home. She has kept up each year with C.P.D and is a qualified aromatherapist, which she uses mainly as a hobby for friends and family. Samantha has worked within the dental profession since 1990. Always being one to push the boundaries, Sam has recently completed training to allow her to administer Dermal Fillers and Botox.

LOUISA FOX RDN

Louisa has worked as a qualified dental nurse at Marsh Dental Care since 1996 and attained her Certificate in Dental Nursing in 1995.

JANINE PAGA RDN

Janine joined the Team at Marsh Dental Care in 2005. Previous to this she has worked as a dental nurse/receptionist in Huddersfield since 1999. She attained her Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2004.

KERRI PETERS

Kerri joined the Team at Marsh Dental Care in 2007 and she works mainly on reception. Previous to joining the Team at Marsh she spent time on a Diploma in Health Studies in Bradford gaining experience in an adult nursing environment.

SAM MULLIN RDN

Sam joined the Team at Marsh Dental Care in 2008. Previous to this she had worked as a dental nurse /receptionist in Huddersfield for six years. She attained her Certificate in Dental Nursing in 2007.
