If the decay is not too serious, the dentist will remove all the decay and restore the tooth with a filling.

Firstly the cavity is cleaned and prepared for the filling to be fixed securely. Then once the filling is placed the tooth is ready for action again.

We can also safely replace silver amalgam fillings with white tooth coloured fillings.
